The ASEME-IDE version 2.2.2 has been released as an Eclipse Mars 2 extension. This version is the first stable release!

Release notes:

  • a BPMN generator has been integrated
  • a number of bug fixes in transformation algorithms

You can download the Eclipse Mars 2 Modeling Tools version including the ASEME IDE:

Unzip the contents and launch eclipse.exe application in the eclipse folder.

Eclipse Update site for all platforms

In order to install it in your own eclispe modeling installation you must follow these steps:

  1. Download Eclipse Modeling Tools package (Mars version preferably) for your platform
  2. Install the Xpand and Graphical Modeling Framework Tooling (GMF) modeling components (from the menu Help -> Install modeling components)
  3. Install the ASEME new software by adding the ASEME 2.2.2 repo (http://aseme.tuc.gr/MarsRepo/) update site (from the menu Help -> Install new software and by clicking the Add button)

Then start a new general project and show the ASEME Dashboard view (from the menu Window -> Show view -> Other and from the list select the ASEME -> ASEME Dashboard)

ASEME-IDE v1.5 (17 Feb 2016)Top of Page

The ASEME-IDE version 1.5 has been released as an Eclipse Luna extension.

Release notes:

  • The SUC graphical model has been modified to show the types of roles
  • Some other minor bugs have been fixed

In order to install it you must follow the following steps:

  1. Download Eclipse Modeling Tools (Luna version only) for your platform
  2. Install the Xpand and Graphical Modeling Framework Tooling (GMF) modeling components (from the menu Help -> Install modeling components)
  3. Install the ASEME new software by adding the ASEMEBetaRepo (http://www.amcl.tuc.gr/aseme/ASEMEBetaRepo/) update site (from the menu Help -> Install new software and by clicking the Add button)

Then start a new general project and show the ASEME Dashboard view (from the menu Window -> Show view -> Other and from the list select the ASEME -> ASEME Dashboard)

The ASEME IDE source code is a bundle of eclipse modeling projects and contains a variety of tools for supporting model-driven agent-based system development but also a dashboard guiding the user through the development process. Graphical editors have been developed for all the ASEME models. You can download the current version from the following link:
